How to play Last Over

Last Over is a timing game. You face six deliveries and need 12 runs to win. You only ever make one decision per ball: when to swing.

One delivery, step by step

  1. The bowler runs in. The Swing Bat button is dimmed and tapping does nothing yet, so you cannot lose a ball by tapping too soon.
  2. The ball is released. The white marker starts sliding along the timing bar from left to right.
  3. You swing. Tap Swing Bat, tap the pitch, or press Space or Enter on a keyboard. The marker freezes where you swung.
  4. The result appears. The score and the row of balls under the pitch update, and the next delivery begins.

The over gets harder

The marker crosses the bar in 1.6 seconds on the first ball. It loses 0.06 seconds on every delivery, so by the sixth ball it takes only 1.3 seconds. The zones stay the same size, but you get less time inside them.

Sharing your score

After the sixth ball you will see your total and your ball-by-ball record. Use Share on WhatsApp, Share score or Copy score link to send it. Whoever opens your link sees that exact score and can tap Play your own over to try to beat it. Links work for any score, including a low one.

Sound

The game has bat, ball and crowd sounds. The Sound button at the top of the game turns them on or off, and your browser remembers the choice.
